Olivia Newton John’s daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, got emotional on live TV while discussing her late mother.

On Tuesday, Lattanzi, 37, appeared on the Australian morning show “Sunrise” to talk about her upcoming appearance at a charity walk in honor of her mother — Olivia’s Walk for Wellness — on Sunday, Oct. 8.

“I’m sorry, it’s still raw for me. People I don’t even know have lifted me up and I have been able to engage with people going through cancer,” she said during the broadcast.

Newton-John died in August of 2022 at age 73, after a battle with cancer. She was first diagnosed at age 43, back in 1992.

Ever since then, she became an advocate for breast cancer awareness and research — including putting a large amount of her own money into the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, which is devoted to “sponsoring global research into plant medicine for cancer.”

The Olivia Walk for Wellness will be the 10th annual event, and it will take place in Alexandra Gardens in Melbourne, Australia, with participants walking five kilometers to raise money for cancer research.

“It’s an honor to continue the Walk for Wellness. There isn’t a greater purpose in life than to give to others and when I went through my mental illness I focused on connecting with people who were going through similar pain….Even when she was at the hardest part of the battle she was still making it about others,” Lattanzi said, during her emotional interview on Tuesday.

At the time of Newton-John’s death, the actress and singer’s former “Grease” co-star John Travolta, 69, posted an Instagram tribute reading, “My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better. Your impact was incredible. I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever! Your Danny, your John!”

Newton-John married actor Matt Lattanzi in 1984 before the pair welcomed their daughter, Chloe, two years later. The pair split in 1995.

Lattanzi, who is an actress known for “Sharknado 5: Global Swarming,” is Newton-John’s only child.

At the time of her death, Newton-John was married to producer John Easterling, who she tied the knot with in 2008.

Her daughter Chloe Lattanzi has faced health battles of her own, struggling with anorexia and drug addiction.

“My eating disorder started when I was 15 and carried on until my early 20s,” Lattanzi told the Mail on Sunday in 2013. “I had anxiety attacks and needed to find a way of feeling in control of something. Food was the one thing I could be in control of….I would be out partying every night at different Hollywood clubs, running into other young celebrities like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton, and just partying the night away.”

Following her mother’s passing, Lattanzi told her Instagram followers that her own mental health was impacted.

“I have not been okay. I’ve had extreme memory loss and difficulty getting out of bed. I’ve been neglecting myself,” she said in an Instagram video in August. “One of my mum’s biggest messages was to take care of yourself. So, I’m gonna disappear for about three weeks because I’m developing health issues in my mind and body.”

She also recently revealed that she believes her mother appeared to her in “supernatural” ways following her death.

“Two weeks after she passed my phone accidentally took a picture of my dog, and there floating by his head was a little blue orb, the same color as this,” Lattanzi told PEOPLE in August.

“Mom and I had talked years back,” she said. “We’d watch these paranormal shows, and I’d say, ‘You gotta show up for me.’ And she was like, ‘I’ll show up as one of those orb things.’”
