This viral video has plunged users into a debate.

A bizarre but easy life hack showing viewers how to get into a locked car by way of a plunger has divided commenters on TikTok due to its innovation — but many are concerned it will give car thieves quick and quiet access to steal from vehicles.

A man donning a blue bandanna stands in front of a locked car door with a baby doll trapped inside the car to kick off the example in the viral video posted by Paul Vu.

“My main priority right now is to get this baby out of the car,” the man says as the plunger is suction-cupped onto the passenger side window.

The man then places three pieces of duct tape under and on the sides of the bathroom tool to prevent it from slipping off during the process.

The man even tells viewers they can “take an extra couple of pieces of tape to make sure it’s nice and sturdy.”

“You can never have too much tape,” he assures his viewers.

The man then grabs the plunger with both hands and, with ease, cracks the locked window open enough to reach in and unlock the vehicle.

The whole process took under one minute to complete.

The video has garnered over 6 million views and more than 400,000 likes since being posted.

In a separate video, another TikTok user tested out the creative way — but this time with two plungers and no tape.

Suction-cupping the two essential bathroom tools next to one another, he grabs them each and slides down his locked car door window in under 30 seconds.

Some commenters on TikTok were amazed by the simple yet effective way of getting into a locked vehicle.

“Locked my keys in my car and this method worked for me, most of the time you are either at home or near a store when this happens, appreciate you bruh,” one user wrote, thanking the man for his advice.

“Thanks because LockSmith costs way too much,” another wrote.

“Wow awesome lesson learned. Will be sharing it,” another said praising the information.

While some comments praised the swift and easy life hack, most were not too happy that this information was shared over concerns of car theft.

“Damn dawg you just made brake in a car that much easier,” one TikTok user wrote.

“You just taught the enemy how to break in without breaking the window,” another user sarcastically said.

“Bro just taught me how to Rob a car,” another declared.
